Submitted trails are subject to verification by Dartmoor National Park Authority, prior to publishing on this website. Heritage Trails will need to follow footpaths and bridleways, or over other land to which the public have a right of access, or where the landowner has given permission. The Authority will also take into account issues including erosion and potential impacts on wildlife and reserves the right not to publish a submitted trail on the Heritage Trails Map.
Whilst every care has been taken to ensure accuracy, Dartmoor National Park cannot accept responsibility for any inaccurate, incomplete or out of date information, or any loss or damage that may result in reliance on it.
The Heritage Trails Map is intended solely to provide indicative information of interest to assist visitors in planning their trip. Do not print maps or in any way attempt to navigate directly from this map. If you wish to use the routes shown you will need to navigate using a more detailed map such as the Ordnance Survey OL 28 Dartmoor Explorer Series map. The weather on Dartmoor can be unpredictable - ensure that you are fully prepared for your trip to the outdoors.
