Biographical Details

Sally has lived in Bovey Tracey with her family since 2000 and runs a small business based at Bovey Tracey Primary School.

Sally is currently a Teignbridge District Councillor representing Bovey Ward and has also had experience as a town and county councillor, as well as serving as a Dartmoor National Park Authority Member in the past .  She has a background in Education and has been a school and hospital governor and a charity trustee.

Sally says, " I recognise how special our national parks are and want to help to conserve them for future generations. They are essential for our eco-system, well being and our local economy.  Dartmoor is a magical place and can evoke the 'awe and wonder' that is missing from the primary school curriculum".

In her spare time Sally enjoys wild swimming, photography and trying to keep fit.
