Farmland
Around the open moor, enclosed farmland comprises small irregular pasture fields bounded by dry stone walls and hedge banks. These provide a mosaic of different wildlife habitats, including marshy Rhôs pasture, hay meadows and dry grasslands with a profusion of orchids and other wild flowers.
