Greater Dartmoor LEAF

The Greater Dartmoor LEAF rural grant programme allocated around £2m of funding to projects that help create sustainable growth and jobs in the Greater Dartmoor area.

The programme has proved very successful and is currently closed to new applications.  It is possible that further funding may be allocated to GD LEAF from the national programme, so do keep an eye out for any further funding announcements.

Heart of the South West Growth Hub

The Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership's Growth Hub offers free events and support for businesses in any sector and of any size. You can contact advisors online or by phone 03456 047 047.

Business Information Point

Business Information Point (BIP) has been offering rural small business support for 20 years and has specific expertise in funding applications and agricultural projects.  It has funded programmes offering free business support, skills workshops and funding advice. Devon Rural Enterprise Hub

Devon Communities Together offers free advice and support to would-be entrepreneurs, new businesses, and community enterprises across rural Devon through the Devon Hub.

Hill Farm Project

Since 2003 the Dartmoor Hill Farm Project has supported farmers on Dartmoor to add value to their businesses and to increase vocational skills. A small team of staff is based in Princetown and can be contacted on 01822 890913 or emailed at hfp@dartmoor.gov.uk.
