Invasive species volunteering - West Dart
Thursday 1 January 1970 at 01:00 - 01:00
It is that time of year again and the balsam, along with everything else, is growing fast.
No flowers yet but they won't be far away.
I will be taking groups out from now until September, doing balsam control in the three main areas which, with your help, we have been dealing over the last five years:
*The Wray Brook at Lustleigh
*the West Dart Headwaters around Princetown and
*the River Avon at South Brent.
Just contact me (preferably by e-mail) by the weekend if you would like to take part in the following week and I will let you know where and when we will meet.
I look forward to catching up with many of you again this summer - Mervyn
