Join us for an afternoon of fun at Haytor Visitor Centre exploring nature, and enjoying Dartmoor. There will be a mix of stories, hands on activities and crafty makes.

Today we'll be having a boggy adventure. We'll think about bogs with a traditional Dartmoor tale, then explore the edges of the valley mire near the visitor centre in search of the wildlife that lives there and the rare Bog Hoverfly. Inspired by our investigations we'll make a simple Bog Hoverfly to take home.

We'll be outside so come dressed for whatever the weather might throw at us. We'll be skirting the edge of the mire but wellies might be useful!
