Local Plan
The Dartmoor Local Plan 2018 - 2036 contains the policies we use to determine planning applications in Dartmoor National Park. It comprises the Local Plan and the policies map, below.
Our Supplementary Planning Documents provide guidance which is also a material consideration when we determine planning applications.
We recently consulted on a draft Housing SPD for Dartmoor, which you can view here.
The Local Plan sets out the vision, aims and policies for development in Dartmoor National Park.

We are currently consulting on a draft Housing SPD to support the delivery of housing in the National Park. If adopted this Housing SPD will replace our Affordable Housing SPD. Find out more and have your say here:
Supplementary planning documents (SPDs) are used to provide more information and guidance on how to apply the policies of the local plan. They include:
